The
steamship Otta was built at Trondhjems Mekaniske Verksted
as yard number 214 and launched 19.July 1949 for the
company DS Songa in Bergen. She was later converted to a
motor vessel and in 1963 sold to Kyra Maritime in Greece
and renamed Kyra Eleni. Under a journey from Lavria to
Bulgaria in ballast and a crew of 20 men, she hit ground
6.January 1978 in bad weather and sank. The wreck rest on
her starboard side on a depth of 15 to 30 meter southwest
of Patroklos Island.
