Helsingör
was a ferry built by Helsingör Værft in 1955 for Danske
Statsbaner, the Danish State railroads. She changed both
owners and names several times before she ended up in the
Maltese company Gozo Channel Company who named her Xlendi.
She operated as a feryy between Valetta and Gozo until she
was decommissioned and laid up in the late 1990's. She was
deliberately scuttled as an artificial reef outside Gozo
12. November 1999, and rest today on a depth of 25 til 42
meter at Xatt-I Ahmar on the south side of the island
Gozo.
