Empire Falstaff was a cargo steamer laid down by Litgows Ltd in Glasgow, and was launched in 1943 for The Ministry of War Transport in London. After Second World War she was sold to the French Government, and changed owners and names several times before she ended up sailing for Eastern Shipping in Liberia in 1954. Under a journey from Antwerpen to Chicago she collided with the steamer Royalston in Lake Huron 26. May 1959 and sank. The wreck rest today on her keel on a depth of 41 to 52 meter east of Harrisville in Michigan.
