HMCS Yukon

HMCS Yukon was built at Burrard Dry Dock and launched in July 1961.She was a Mackenzie class destroyer that did service for the Canadian Navy as a training vessel from 1963 to 1993. She was in 2000 sold to be sunk as an artificial reef outside San Diego. 15.July 2000 the destroyer was scuttled in Mission Bay outside San Diego in California. The wreck rest today on a depth of 18 to 32 meter. Also see the wreck of HMCS Mackenzie in British Colombia, Canada.
