The
cargo freighter Ville De Tenes was built in Koostertille
in Holland, and was launched in 1960 for the French
company Societe de Combustibles in Algerie. In 1979 she
ended up with Egyptian owners in Suez and ws renamed to
Aboudy. 7.May 1988 loaded with aluminum and medicines, she
hit ground at Ras Ghareb and sank. Written of as a total
loss, she was forgotten until sport divers found her in
2005. The wreck rest today on a depth of approximately 8
to 12 meter.
