Egypt,Red Sea

Halsskov was a car and passenger ferry laid down at Helsingör Skibsværdt, and was launched in 1956 for the Danish governmental railroad company DSB. In 1989 she was sold to Greece and renamed Melody. The year after she was rebuilt to a night ferry, and had her tonnage increased, and was also renamed again as European Spirit. In 1995 her story becomes a bit uncertain, since she change both name and owners several times. In 1998 she was named Al Quamar and was used in the Red Sea. She obviously sank sometime after 1999, but getting reliable information pose a bit of a problem in those waters so to speak. According to a statement from a local dive club, she rest today on a depth of approximately 10 to 25 meter outside Ras Sedr in Egypt.
