Gulf Fleet 31

Gulf Fleet 31 was a general cargo freighter built in Houma in Louisiana in the US, and was launched in 1978 for the American company Gulf Fleet Marine Company. She served as an offshore supply vessel, and hit ground 19. September 1985 northwest of Shabrur in the Red Sea and was firmly stuck. The crew abandoned ship and she went down on the deep a few weeks later. The wreck was found in 1995 and rest today on a depth of approximately 80 to 108 meter at the Shabrur Umm Gamar reefs.
