Jolanda was a general cargo ship built by Juliana Constructora in Spain, and was launched in 1964. She sailed for the company Rennies Coasters until she was sold to Seabrother Marine company in Cyprus in 1977. Under a journey from Piraeus to Aquba loaded with general goods, toilets and metal, she drifted and hit ground under a storm at Ras Mohammed 1. April 1980. She stood stuck on the reef for four days, before she rolled over and sank in shallow water. Five years later she tipped over the edge of the reef and settled herself on a depth of 140 meter. The cargo still rest in shallow waters around the reef.
