Brunsbuttel Byelourus II was built at H.C. Stulcken & Sohn Schiffwerft and launched in 1952. She changed names and owners several times during her career and last owner was  Ianissos Shipping Company in Panama. During a journey from Iskanderum to Bombay in December 1978 loaded with lentils. On her way towards Bombay she hit ground when she sailed at full speed 12. December at Sha’ab Abu Nuhas outside Egypt. She was stuck for several days and the bow got totally devasted before she sunk. The wreck rest today on a depth of 6 to 32 meter northeast of Sha’ab Abu Nuhas.
