Zieteh was built as a coastal freighter by Walker Shipbuilders in England, and was launched in 1911. After the work started with extracting oil in the early 1910's in Egypt, she was sold to the company Anglo Egyptian Oilfields Ltd and put in service with transport in the Red Sea. While loading oil she caught fire near Ras Ziet 29.January 1915. She developed a listing and soon went down in the deep. The wreck rest today on her port side on a depth of 5 to 12 meter at the island of Ashrafi north of Hurghada.
