She was severely damaged during a storm in the early 1990's and was beached outside Puerto Madryn. She was re-floated and towed out by the Argentinian Navy and deliberately scuttled as an artificial reef 24. March 2004. The wreck rest today on her keel like a classic Donald Duck wreck on a depth of 25 meter in Golfo Nuevo outside Puerto Madryn. Alse see the adjacent wreck of Albatros.
