Taurus was a tugboat built in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, and was launched in 1969. She did service in the harbor in Rio de Janeiro for decades until she was stricken from the lists and condemned in the early 2000's. After long and faithful service she was scuttled together with the two other tugboats Mercurius and Saveiros east of Recife as artificial reefs in 2002. The wreck of Taurus rest today on her keel as a classic Donald Duck wreck on a depth of 18 to 25 meter about five nautical miles from shore.
