The tugboat Taurus was built in Brasil and launched in 1969. She did service in the harbor in Rio de Janeiro for decades, but after long and faithful service she was scuttled together with the tug boats Mercurius and Saveiros east of Recife as artificial reefs in May 2006. Taurus rest today as a "Donald Duck" wreck standing on her keel on a depth of 18 to 25 meter.
